The UpChuck is back!

Winners will be able to claim the title of “fastest rider on the bluff” (up and down), in addition to cash/gear prizes.

Join us as reigning UpChuck champions gear up to defend their hard-earned titles from a new wave of fierce competitors eager to make their mark.

The race is open to any mountain bike rider able to make it to the top of the Shining trail. Whether you’re a seasoned pro, an ambitious newcomer, or a parent trying to prove they are still faster than their children – we’d love to have you participate!

Registration details

The race will have M+F race categories for the following age groups: U12, 13-15, 16-18, 19-49, 50+

SMBA members can pre-register for
$35 for 19+
$20 for riders 18 and under

Non-members will be charged a $5 surcharge. Race-day registrations will also incur a $5 surcharge.

Proceeds after prizes will go to SMBA trail fund for tools, supplies, and paid trailbuilding efforts.
