Get set… Saturday, April 26th is the Crank It Up: SMBA Season Kickoff BBQ, and we want YOU there to help us launch the season with stoke, community, and good vibes!
We’re celebrating arrival of bike season with a BBQ and brews from 430-630ish PM, followed by a ticketed adults-only themed afterparty with DJ Civilian from Vancouver.
Event Highlights
4:30 PM — BBQ is ready to go
See you at Smithers Brewery. Kids welcome of course. Smithers Brewery will sell burger tickets at the bar. $10 a burger and $15 for a burger and beer. Receive your ticket stub for the burger and for a chance to win some merchandise.
4:30-6:30 — SMBA mingling and engagement
SMBA will have a few things for you;
- Trail Adopter Program information and how to engage
- Upcoming events and volunteer help for such
- A fun game or two is planned
- SMBA membership drive. Do you have yours?
- Prizes to be won!
BBQ & Brews/Kombucha
Grab some food and drinks – a portion of BBQ and drink sales will go to support SMBA.
7:00 – 8:00 PM — Brewery Closed for Afterparty Setup
Smithers Brewing will close between 7:00 and 8:00 PM to prepare for the adults-only afterparty.
8:00 PM – Adults-Only Afterparty
(Ticketed Event) with DJ Civilian from Vancouver.
Smithers loves a reason to dress up! This year’s theme is “Party Laps & Pit Vipers”- bring the big après energy and show up in your best (or worst) post-ride look. Whether you look race-ready, trail-worn, or like you’ve been sending it since ‘99, we want to see it.
