Mountain biking, costumes, fun stations, prizes, and beer ... what's not to love?

It's a fun event where the most outrageous costumes (hers & his) will be rewarded.

Wanna race? That's cool. Wanna ride at a social pace? That's cool too. Most of the riding will be at your own pace with an optional timed DH section. We'll be handing out prizes to the fasties, but also for the MOST AVERAGE time.

EVENT OVERVIEW:
==============
This year's theme is "Enter the Magic Kingdom" inspired by our feature trail Shangri-La. Merriam-Webster dictionary defines Shangri-La as "a remote beautiful imaginary place where life approaches perfection : utopia." That sounds about right  [Wink]

Dress up as your favourite fictional character and join us for a day of good times on bikes! Your journey begins at Spring Creek at 10 am for registration. From there you will travel along Spring Creek to face 5 challenges. At the Lichen Lookout, you have the choice to carry on down Lichen Loop and out Spring Creek or you can race or ride Shangri-La/Hey Bear to the finish.

Make your way to Sherwood Mountain for an after-party feast! Darryl will be BBQ'ing.

Race Details:
-All jumps will be blocked off, so on your next few Shangri-La rides, try hitting the ridearounds.
-An Enduro isn't an Enduro without a little bit of pedaling. The timer stops at the Hey Bear/LaLa Valley junction.

We'll have a designated cheer (heckler?) section at the Shangri-La/Hey Bear! junction.
